Why Is My Account Balance Negative?

At times, Stan may need to collect funds from your connected Stripe account:

  • To charge the connected account directly for products or services.
  • To recover funds for a previous refund.
  • To make other adjustments to connected account balances (for example, to correct an error).

It's also possible that a customer(s) of yours may have disputed a charge. When this happens, Stripe takes the funds from your account right away until the dispute has been settled.
