Stripe Custom Accounts for the UAE

Are you located in the UAE? Here's what you need to know!

• In order to open a Stripe Custom account managed by Stan, you must be one of the following:
  • Sole Establishment (or branches of one)
  • Free Zone Establishment
  • LLC (or branches of one)
  • Free Zone LLCs
• You will need to provide a valid trade license issued within the UAE as part of the Stripe verification process
• Once you have created a Stripe account, you will be limited to only accepting Credit or Debit card payments. You will not have access to AfterPay / Klarna (payment plans).

Creating a Stripe Custom Account in UAE

1. To create your Stripe account for UAE, head to your Accounts Settings -> select the Payments tab -> and click Register beside Stripe.

2. Next, select UAE from the dropdown:

3. Pay close attention and follow through the registration process! Once you are complete, you will be able to start making sales on Stan! 🙂

Troubleshooting

Are you stuck at the following step?

1. This happens sometimes when more information is needed, click safe for later . Don't worry! Your information will be saved.
2. Under payment methods, select update now to fill in additional requirements that may be needed for the setup process.

3. Heads up! You may need to repeat these trouble shooting steps up to 2 times to ensure all data is collected!
