Stripe Custom Accounts for the UAE

Are you located in the UAE? Here's what you need to know!

• In order to open a Stripe Custom account managed by Stan, you must be one of the following:
  • Sole Establishment (or a branch of one).
  • Free Zone Establishment.
  • LLC (or a branch of one).
  • Free Zone LLC.
• You will need to provide a valid trade license issued within the UAE as part of the Stripe verification process.
• Once you have created a Stripe account, you will be limited to only accepting Credit or Debit card payments. You will not have access to AfterPay / Klarna (payment plans).

Creating a Stripe Custom Account in the UAE

1. To create your Stripe account for the UAE, head to Settings > Payments > Register.

2. Next, select UAE from the dropdown:

3. Pay close attention and follow the steps of the registration process! Once you are complete, you will be able to start making sales on Stan 🙂
