How to Setup the NEW Affiliate Share Feature

Stan's new Affiliate Share feature empowers you to affiliate your products to both Stan and non-Stan users to sell on your behalf! Imagine how many more affiliates and customers you'll reach!

How to Setup the NEW Affiliate Share Feature

  1. Make your way to My Store tab and click into the product you'd like to affiliate.
  2. Next, click the Options tab and find the Affiliate Share dropdown.
  3. Toggle on Enable Affiliate Share option to give all customers who purchase this product the ability to resell and receive commission.

  1. Next, select the desired Commission percentage that you would like your customers to receive if they decide to resell by clicking on the settings icon like below:

  1. A new window will appear, you can customize a Terms & Conditions that is specific to reselling your product. Your customer will be required to review and approve before we reveal their affiliate link to them!

  1. If you have used the Affiliate feature in the past, you will also see Unique Affiliate Links with their own Commission in this section!

    If this is your first time using the Affiliate feature, you will not see this section!

  1. After clicking Save, your product is now ready to be published!

How Does My Customer Resell My Product?

You might be wondering what happens next after a customer purchases this product! With our new feature, your customer can resell your product by adding to their Stan Store, or can share in any other way!


That's right! Your customer does not need an active Stan Subscription in order to resell your product, however they will need to create an Affiliate Stan Account to access their link and funds earned. See more below 👇


  1. After purchasing your product, your customer will receive a confirmation email guiding them on how to gain access to their unique affiliate link and start selling!
  2. If your customer is a paying Stan Customer, they will see a new Affiliates tab with your link inside of it like below

  1. If your customer does not have a Stan Store, they will receive an invite to create a free Stan Affiliate Account that will only give them access to the Affiliate and Income tab like below:


Heads up!

Regardless if your customer is an active Stan user, or a non-Stan user, they will be required to login to Stan in order to receive their unique link, in addition to being paid out.

  • Active, paying Stan users will login to their existing Stan Store account for this
  • Non-Stan users will create an Affiliate Only Stan account and login to that

How Can I Ensure My Affiliates Agree to My Resell Terms?

  1. If you have a Terms & Conditions enabled, your affiliate will be required to agree to the terms before we will reveal their unique affiliate link.
  2. After that, they can start making commission by adding their affiliate link to their Stan Store, another website, or share using any communications channel they'd like!

How Can I Track the Sales Made By My Affiliates?

As the original seller, you'll be able to track all of sales made by your Affiliates from inside your Affiliate Analytics.

Your Affiliates, both active, paying Stan creators and non-Stan creators, will have access to an Affiliate tab that will display all of their sales!

Will I Be Notified When My Affiliate Makes a Sale?

YES! As the original creator and seller of the product you will receive an email notification like the one below. In addition to that your affiliate will also receive a purchase confirmation email for each sale made!
