How to Subscribe on the Stan Mobile App

Important Details for In-App Sign Up

📣 A Quick Note About Apple IDs

Please note that you can only subscribe to one Stan account per Apple ID. At this time, it's not possible to create an account and subscription with your Apple ID, then log out, and create another account/subscription. Apple will only let you create one account per Apple ID!

That being said, it is totally possible to log in or out of any account on the App — this only applies to creating subscriptions!

Subscriptions: You can subscribe to our $29/mo Creator Plan or our $99/mo Creator Pro Plan and get a 14-day free trial for either! Once your trial period is over, you will be charged for your first month's subscription payment. If you decide Stan is not for you, you can cancel at any time during your 14-day free trial to avoid a subscription charge.

☝️Upgrades & Downgrades: Heads up — you will only be able to change your subscription from the platform you subscribed on. If you subscribed on the mobile app, you can only change your plan in the app settings, and you can only cancel through Apple. If you subscribed on the browser version, you can only manage or cancel your plan in the browser.

💸 Subscription Change Charges: If you upgrade on the app from Creator to Creator Pro, you will be immediately charged for Creator Pro. If you downgrade from Creator Pro to Creator, you will maintain Creator Pro for the rest of your billing cycle — downgrading just changes your renewal preference for your next subscription payment!

🌐 Web Access: If you subscribe to Stan on the mobile app, you will still have all of the same browser access you have subscribing from your browser. Please note that some of the options in Settings will redirect you to your browser where you will be automatically logged in to continue working on your store. This applies to some of our features like Stan AutoDM and setting up Integrations. Here's what that may look like on your end:


How to Sign Up in the App

  1. Download the Stan app from the iOS App Store
  2. Open the app and select Sign Up

  1. Enter your name, email, and password, then select Get Started

  1. Fill out the onboarding survey and indicate if you were referred to Stan by another Creator
  2. You will be redirected to a page to set up your subscription to the Creator or Creator Pro plan — don't forget, you'll have a 14-day free trial with either option 🤩

  1. Once you select Start My 14 Day Trial, you will be redirected to your Apple ID to confirm the subscription

  1. Once you select Subscribe, you will see a pop-up confirming your subscription

  1. Start working through your Store Launch Checklist


Changing Your Subscription in the App

  1. Login to your account in the Stan App
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Click Change Plan

  1. You will be given the option to upgrade or downgrade, depending on your current subscription status. Just click the Upgrade to Creator Pro or Downgrade to Creator button to update your Apple subscription!

  1. Enter your Apple ID password and click Subscribe to make it official 🎉


Setting Up Stripe in the App

Once you create your subscription, you'll be directed to set up your Store. Step three in that process is setting up your Stripe Custom Account! Check out the steps below to learn how to set up Stripe in the mobile app:

  1. On your Dashboard page, swipe to Step 3: Setup Your Direct Deposit
  2. Select Set Up Stripe
  3. Choose your Home Country and select Create My Stan Store Account — please note that once you choose your country you will be unable to change it. If you chose the wrong country, please reach out to friends@stanwith.me for support!

  1. Enter your email address and phone number, then click Submit

  1. Stripe will send a verification code to your phone, please enter the code and the page will automatically redirect

  1. Answer Stripe's questions about your business and click Continue

  1. Enter your personal details so Stripe can verify your identity!

  1. Select a bank to connect with Stripe for direct deposit

  1. Sign into your bank account or enter your bank details manually to connect your account with Stripe
  2. Once your account is connected, you'll see a success page indicating the connection was successful! When you reach this page, select Done

  1. You will be redirected back to Stripe to choose your connected bank account for payouts. Please make sure your account is selected and click Continue

  1. You'll be redirected to a blank page. Please click Close to return to your Dashboard

  1. Once you Close, you'll be sent back to your Dashboard where you'll see Step 3 crossed out. When you reach this page, you can be sure that your Stripe has been connected!


🗓️ Heads Up for Annual Subscriptions

Please note that at this time, it is not possible to subscribe to an annual subscription to Stan in the App ($300/yr Creator or $948/yr Creator Pro). If you're interested in an annual subscription, please subscribe from your browser!
