How to Edit a Stanley-Generated PDF

Want to customize your Stanley-generated PDF? While we're working on a built-in editor, here's how you can easily edit your PDF using Canva 🎨

Download your generated PDF

  1. Click the Download button to save the Stanley-generated PDF to your device.


Upload and edit in Canva

  1. Go to Canva.com and log in to your account (or create a free account).
  2. Click the purple + Create button at the top left.

  1. Click Upload from the left-hand menu.

  1. Select your Stanley-generated PDF file.
  2. Canva will convert your PDF into an editable design 🎨

Here are some things you can edit in Canva:

  • 📝 Text content and formatting.
  • 🖼️ Images and graphics.
  • 🔗 Table of contents links.
  • ➕ Add new sections or pages.
  • 🔄 Rearrange page order.
  • 🎨 Colors, fonts, and styling.

Download your updated PDF

  1. When you're happy with your changes in Canva, click Share in the top right.
  2. Select Download.

  1. Choose PDF Standard.
  2. Click Download to save the updated file to your device.

Replace your product file in Stan

  1. In Stan, navigate back to your product's Checkout Page tab.
  2. Click the trashcan icon 🗑️ to remove the old PDF file.

  1. Upload your newly edited PDF from Canva.
  2. Hit Publish ✨

And you're done! Your customers will now see your custom-edited version instead of the original Stanley-generated PDF.
