How to Change Your Stan Username

While signing up for Stan, you were prompted to choose a username in order to create your Stan Store. If you decide that this username no longer suits you and your business, no worries! You can change your Stan Store username at any time from your settings tab! 💜

Steps to Update Your Stan Username

1. Head over to your Settings and select the Profile tab

2. Locate the Username field and type in your desired username

3. Be sure to click Update to save your changes! 

What happens if I change my username after I've sent a product link to my audience?

If you've recently sent out a link to a product but have decided to change your username, we try our best to auto-forward those links to your new store URL. Though there is a high chance this bypass will auto-forward, we cannot guarantee that it will work 100% of the time.

With that in mind, we recommend resending your new Stan Store URL + any landing page URL's that you've previously created!

What happens to my Stan Store Referral Link after changing my username?

Your Stan store URL will also change as you update your Stan username. If your Stan Store URL is pasted anywhere (like your social profiles "link in bio"), then you'll want to be sure to update it as well!

Any past referrals that you've driven will remain under your account as we track your account using a user ID, which does not impact any username changes on your part 🙂
