How to Create a Course Product

Stan's eCourse product lets you sell structured, video-based courses directly from your storefront. Whether it's a mini course, full program, or drip-based coaching series, you can guide your audience step-by-step through your content, all in one place. Let's walk through the setup! πŸ“š


Step 1: Add Your Course Product βž•

  • Go to the My Store tab.
  • Click + Add Product.
  • Select eCourse from the product type list.


Step 2: Customize the Thumbnail Tab πŸ“Έ

  1. Pick a style β€” Button, Callout, or Preview.
  2. Upload an image β€” This icon appears on your storefront.
  3. Add text β€” Title, subtitle, and button label.

πŸ’‘ You'll see a live preview of your product as you edit!


Step 3: Design the Checkout Page Tab 🎨

  1. Select an image β€” this will be the banner image on your checkout page.
  2. Add product title and description.
  3. Set your price β€” One-Time or Subscription.
    • Enable Payment Plans, Discount Codes, or Quantity Limits (Creator Pro plan only).
  1. Collect customer info β€” Name and email are default; add custom fields if needed.


Step 4: Edit the Course Homepage 🏑

Your Course Homepage is the landing page your customer sees when they open the course link after they purchase.

  • Click Edit Page to customize the look of your course page.

    • Add a title.
    • Add your course title and description.
    • Choose your font.
    • Select background and highlight colors.

    • Click Save.

Step 4: Add Modules & Lessons πŸ“’

  • Back on the Course tab main page, you can add Modules & Lessons.
    • Use modules like chapters.
    • Add lessons to each module.
    • Upload videos, add lesson descriptions, and attach supporting materials (PDFs, slides, etc.)

πŸ’‘ Tips

  1. Use the three dots to the right of a module to:
  • Publish, Save as Draft, or Drip the content.
    • Drip controls when your students get access to specific modules (e.g., 3 days after purchase). You can toggle on an email update to remind customers when the drip module is ready.
  • Rename or delete the module.

  1. Click and drag the six dots on the left to rearrange the order of your lessons and modules.


Step 6: Save or Publish πŸš€

  • Click Save as Draft if you’re still working.
  • Click Publish when you’re ready to go live.

You can always come back and make edits anytime ✨


πŸ“ Please note

Customers cannot download videos uploaded to the Lesson section. Files added to the Supporting Materials section can be downloaded (PDFs, templates, etc.).
