Why is PayPal not connecting to my Stan Store?

You've successfully connected PayPal with Stan, but you're either receiving an error message in your Settings tab or it's not yet showing as an option at checkout.


This may be due to the following reasons:

  1. You haven't yet verified your email for your PayPal account yet. PayPal should have sent you a verification email after setup. Please check your Spam or Promotions folder just in case!
    1. Please be sure to use a Business PayPal account
    2. When connecting PayPal in Stan, on the final page, please be sure to select "Go back to FindCommunity"
    3. Next, you should receive a verification email from PayPal in your email inbox, please check Spam or Promotions for this
    4. Once you find it, be sure to verify your account
    5. After that, you'll just need to make sure you have a valid bank account connected to PayPal and then you should be good to go to sell on Stan!
  2. Or, PayPal has not verified your PayPal account to receive payments yet. You'll need to be sure to add and confirm a valid bank account. You can learn more here.
