How to Access Your Stripe Custom Account (and Update Your Public, Personal, or Banking Details)

Stan uses a special Stripe integration called Stripe Custom. A Stripe Custom account does not have a separate Stripe Dashboard login, so you won’t be able to access it through Stripe.com or the Stripe mobile app.

You can view your earnings, check when funds will become available, and cash out from the Income tab directly in Stan.✨

To update the information connected to your Stripe Custom account—including your public, personal, and payout bank details—follow these steps from your Stan dashboard:

  1. Log in to Stan and click Settings in the bottom left-hand corner.
  2. Select Payments from the top navigation.
  3. Click on the Manage button next to Stripe.

  1. A secure Stripe window will open within the Stan flow. Follow the prompts to verify your information and access your Stripe Custom account details.

  1. Once verified, you can edit your public details, personal details, or payout bank information. To update your bank details, scroll to the Payout Accounts section and click the pencil icon next to the account you want to change.

Where to view earnings and payout activity

Settings > Payments is only for connecting Stripe and managing your account or banking details. Your earnings and payout activity will not appear there.

To check your funds:

  1. Go to the Income tab in Stan.
  2. Select a transaction to view its processing status and estimated availability date.
  3. Once your balance is available, click + Cash Out.

🚨 If you recently connected your Stripe Custom account, a payout may not be available immediately. Your first transactions may require Stripe’s one-time verification and processing period. Affiliate commissions also have their own holding period and can typically take 7–12 business days to become available for cash out.
