How to Access Your Stripe Custom Account (Update Public Details, Personal Details, Payout/Bank Details, etc.)
Stan has a special integration with Stripe called Stripe Custom. With a Stripe Custom account, you won't be able to login to the Stripe platform, but you will be able to cash out from your Income tab, and manage your information on your Stripe Custom account from your Stan account. This allows you to access everything in one place!
To update your Stripe Custom information (including public details, personal details, and your payout/bank account details), you can access your Stripe Custom account from your Stan dashboard by going following the steps below:
- Login to Stan and click on Settings in the bottom left.
- Select Payments from the top tabs.
- Click on the Manage button next to Stripe.
- Once you click on Manage, you should notice a pop up window that will ask you to sign into your Stripe Custom account.
- Once you're signed into your Stripe Custom account, you can edit your public details, personal details or go ahead and scroll down to where you see the Payout Accounts section. Here, you can click on the pencil icon to update your payout details successfully.
🚨 Reminder: You will not be able to login from the normal connect.stripe.com or the Stripe Mobile App to view and/or manage your Stan Stripe Custom account. Instead, you'll need to login to Stan to do so by following the steps above.
Troubleshooting
If you're still unable to edit the bank details, you may need to try clearing your cache:
- Log off from Stripe.
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies: How to clear: https://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/
- Log back into Stripe.
- Retry the process!
