How to access your Stripe Custom account (and update your public, personal, or banking details)

Stan uses a special Stripe integration called Stripe Custom accounts. With a Stripe Custom account, you won't be able to log in to the Stripe platform natively, but you will be able to earn, manage your information, and cash out directly from the Income tab within your Stan account. Instead of juggling information between two different accounts, you can access everything in one place ✨


To update your Stripe Custom account information (including public details, personal details, and your payout/bank account details), you can access your account from your Stan dashboard by following these steps:


  1. Log in to Stan and click Settings in the bottom left-hand corner.
  2. Select Payments from the top navigation.
  3. Click on the Manage button next to Stripe.

  1. A pop-up window should appear asking you to sign in to your Stripe Custom account.

  1. Once you're signed in, you can edit your public details, personal details, or payout/banking information. To update your bank details, scroll down to the Payout Accounts section. Here, you can click on the pencil icon to update where Stripe should deposit your earnings.



🚨 Reminder!

You will not be able to log in, view, and/or manage your Stripe Custom account from the standard connect.stripe.com website or the Stripe Mobile App. Instead, you'll need to log in to your Stan account and follow the steps above.

Troubleshooting

If you're unable to edit your bank details, try clearing your cache. To do this:

  1. Log out of Stripe.
  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Here's how.
  3. Log back into Stripe.
  4. Retry the process.
