How to Set Up the New Affiliate Share Feature

Setting up the Affiliate Share Feature
Turning on the Affiliate Share feature for your products takes just a few clicks and instantly allows others to promote and sell your product on your behalf. Here’s exactly how to set it up:
- Go to My Store in your Stan dashboard and select the product you want to enable the Affiliate Share Feature on.
- Click on Options and find the Affiliate Share section.
- Toggle on Enable Affiliate Share in that dropdown to give all customers who purchase this product the ability to resell and receive commission.
- Enter the commission percentage that you would like your customers to receive in the entry field.
💰 How Much Commission Should I Give To My Affiliates?
A typical commission is 20-50%, but you can set any percentage that makes sense for your business!
- Select the Settings Icon to set your terms and conditions for your Affiliate product.
- Toggle on and customize Terms & Conditions that are specific to reselling your product. (💡 Please note that these Terms are intended to protect you and your products — not Stan! If you’d like to completely remove and replace the template, you absolutely can). Your customer will be required to review and approve before we reveal their Affiliate link to them! When your terms are complete, select Close.
- Make sure to Publish your product and you'll be all set!
My Affiliate Link is set up! What happens next?
Great question! Once a customer has purchased your product, they'll get an email with the Affiliate link should they want to resell your product. If they click the link, they'll be directed to accept your terms and conditions before they can start selling with your link! Here's what that email looks like:
Anyone who purchases the product will receive an Affiliate link automatically. Please note, this link will only be automatically sent to new Affiliates who purchase your product. If you would like to grant Affiliate Access to previous Affiliates with legacy links, you can do so in your Customers Tab. Learn more here!
