Stan’s Affiliate Share feature is receiving a revamp! We have removed the headaches of having to manage your own payouts, and empowered you to create affiliated products that anyone can sell on your behalf, even if they are not Stan users themselves! How do I access Analytics for my Affiliates' sales?

As the original seller, you'll be able to track all of the sales made by your Affiliates from your Affiliate Analytics Page. Each product has its own tracking page that will allow you to track each individual affiliates sales for a given product! Here's how to find that page:

  1. Head to your My Store tab and choose your product
  2. Navigate to the Options tab and choose the Affiliate Share Dropdown
  3. Select Affiliate Analytics

Will I get notifications for my Affiliates' sales?

YES! As the original Creator and seller of the product you will receive an email notification like the one below. Your Affiliate will also receive a purchase confirmation email for each sale made!

How do Payouts work with the NEW Affiliate Share Feature?

As the Creator of the product, you will be paid out as soon as the Stripe payment for a product is processed! Your Affiliates will be paid out after a 30 -45 day holding period after a product purchase. Stan holds these funds for 30 days in order for us to be able to process refunds if requested, and Stripe holds the funds for an additional 1- 15 days. We understand that this is a long time to wait, and are working on shortening this payout period!

How do Refunds work with the NEW Affiliate Share Feature?

Only the Original Owner of the Affiliate product will be able to process refunds for an Affiliate product! There are two scenarios for Refunds for New Affiliate products: 

  • The original Creator will be able to refund an Affiliate's customer in full before the 30-day holding period.
    • When the original Creator processes a refund in full, the Affiliate will not receive their commission.
  • If an Original Creator wants to process a refund after the 30-day holding period for an Affiliate's customer, please reach out to our support team, as we will need to reach out to our engineering team to process a refund in full. 
    • This refund would include the full amount coming out of the original Creator's Income tab, whereas the Affiliate keeps their commission (since it's after the 30-day hold).

Yes! If you need to resend your Affiliate their link, you can:

  1. Follow the directions above to access your Affiliate Analytics Page
  2. Select the 3 dots next to the Affiliate you'd like to resend the link to
  3. Select Resend Affiliate Link


Can I send an email to all my Affiliates?

Yes! You can filter for all Affiliates in an Email Broadcast! Here's how:

  1. Follow the directions above to access your Affiliate Analytics Page
  2. Select Send Email

I am using the Legacy Affiliate Share feature, how will this NEW feature change affect me?

While our plan is to eventually phase out the Legacy Affiliate Share feature once we can ensure a smooth transition, if you are already using it, don't worry!

As of now, we will run both the NEW Affiliate Share feature and the Legacy Affiliate Share feature simultaneously as long as you already have the legacy affiliate share feature configured. You can access both features by using the settings under the NEW Affiliate Share Feature:

If you click + Add Unique Affiliate Link, you can add a Legacy Affiliate link to your product!


Can I give unique affiliate links to existing customers of my product after I have enabled the New Affiliate Share Feature?

Yes! You can grant access of unique affiliate links to previous customers of your existing products after you have enabled the New Affiliate Share Feature onto the product!

  1. Go into your Customers tab
  2. Filter by product to find the customers of your product that you enabled the New Affiliate Share feature on
  3. Click on the three dots and then click on "Grant Affiliate Access"

  1. This will open a pop up where you will select which product with the New Affiliate Share enabled that you would like to grant affiliate access to
  2. Click on "Grant Affiliate Access"
