How to Troubleshoot Your Pixel ID

Connecting your Pixel ID to Stan can be a bit of a complicated process! If you're having trouble making the connection or tracking events, please check out the troubleshooting steps below 🀩

Pixel ID Set-Up Troubleshooting

❌ Turn off your pop-up blockers

If you have pop-up blockers enabled on your browser, this could block your Pixel ID from connecting! Please make sure to turn off pop-up blockers before proceeding with your Pixel ID.

πŸ‘€ Double check your Pixel ID number

Stan already has the code to make the Pixel ID connection embedded in our software, so no need to add the entire line of custom code to the entry field! Here is an example of the code you should not add to your Stan settings:

Please make sure your Pixel ID is only the 15-16 digit number provided by the host platform. It should look something like this:

Pixel ID Tracking Troubleshooting

If you've successfully connected your Pixel ID and it's not firing, please check out the troubleshooting steps below:

If your Pixel ID isn't firing, it may be because you are trying to track a product incompatible with Pixel IDs. At this time, Stan is unable to connect Pixel IDs to funnel products. If you're trying to track advanced analytics for a funnel, please consider using a Landing Page with an Order Bump instead! This will allow you to track all advanced analytics on your products, while still bundling exclusive deals for your customers.
