How to Add a TikTok Pixel ID

Getting Your TikTok Pixel ID

Before you can add your Pixel ID to Stan, you'll need to retrieve it from TikTok Ad Manager. Here's how:

  1. Select Events from the Tools menu

  1. Click Connect Data Source

  1. Choose Web

  1. Add you stan.store/username URL

  1. Select Manual Setup

  1. Select TikTok Pixel

  1. Name your Pixel

  1. You can just click Next here. No action is needed — Stan already has this code baked into the website for you!

  1. Click Next again

  1. Click Next one more time!

  1. Click Finish 🙌

Now it's time to find your Pixel ID! 👾

  1. Click Data Sources in the lefthand menu

  1. Grab your Pixel ID 🎉

Adding your TikTok Pixel ID to Stan

Now that you've found your Pixel ID code, you can enter it into Stan to start tracking your traffic! Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Settings and remain on the Profile tab
  2. Scroll to Analytics
  3. Enter your Pixel ID in the TikTok Pixel ID field

  1. Click Update

Once your TikTok Pixel ID is added to Stan, we highly recommend that you use the TikTok Pixel Helper Extension when testing to see if your pixel events are firing!

Events that Stan Fires

Stan uses Custom/Standard events to track a customer's journey within your Stan Store.

  1. PageView: This event fires every time a customer visits your main storefront or any of the product pages.

  1. CompletePayment: All Product Purchases fire a PURCHASE event → See TikTok Pixel doc

  1. Submit Form: All Lead Magnet submission forms fire a Submit Form event → See TikTok Pixel doc
