How to Market your Products

Step 1: Overcome Your Fears 👊🏼

Are you worried about being called a sellout? Or feel icky pushing a product so as to not be a guru?

You don't need to worry!

If you've built a product that you believe will genuinely help your audience, then you have nothing to fear.

What's more authentic to you - a 3rd party brand or a product that YOU  built yourself?

If you don't build a product, then you don't have a Creator business, which means no one will get to enjoy your content long-term. You'll burn out if you keep doing this for as little money as you're making today.

Building and selling your own product is the next stage of your Creator Business.


Step 2: How to Market Your Product 📣

Golden Rule: ALWAYS provide value first, then sell.

The best converting videos are the ones that slip the call-to-action in at the end after you provide a sneak peek of value.

A great script I like to use is the "Step 1, 2, 3 - I'll help you with Step 3" and then call them to action with the last step. This step is where you can add the most value to your clients (the hardest part for them) and therefore how you can make money.

Here's another example:

⏬ Let's say you're selling a digital download. 

🏙 Give them a teaser of what the download can provide: "This is how I analyze an Investment Property..." 

📃 "Also, if you want to utilize my spreadsheets you can buy them in my link-in-bio." 

🆘 Always add value first: this kills two birds with one stone ➡️ authentically helping folks + teasing your value!


Step 3: GO LIVE 👀

GOING LIVE is where you make the most money.

Flat and simple. Say it after me, GOING LIVE IS WHERE YOU MAKE THE MOST MONEY!

It's not even close how many sales you'll drive on Live. This is where your best followers are, and you can live interact and pitch them on why your product will help them.

Here are great one liners you can use in your Live to drive conversions:

Teasing Future Value: Your followers will ask you a lot of questions! Give them the basic answer, but tease that you go more deeply into this in your products - "We go into this in depth every week on my live call."

🗓️ Answers that Require More Nuance: For complex questions from your audience, you can say "I can answer this for you once I know more about your situation. You can book time on my calendar through my link in bio!"

👥 Call your Best Fans to Action: Whenever you see an existing customer or top follower join the Live, give em a shoutout and have them vouch for you!


Step 4: Customer Testimonials ⭐

Your followers will be more likely to purchase if they see proof that other people have received value from you!

Sprinkle Customer Testimonials throughout your videos and Stan site to drive more sales!

Other ways to additionally convert:

💲 Drive Urgency: "I'm raising the price of my membership to $29 next month!"

😎 Exclusivity:  "There are only 3 spots left...I'm only doing 3 of these!"
