How to Connect Stan with Paypal

Before you can start making money on Stan, you'll need to connect a payment processor like PayPal or Stripe to your Stan Store! PayPal is a great option as it uses data encryption and anti-fraud technology to help keep your information secure, reducing the risk of online fraud.

If Stripe is not available in your current country, PayPal is a great alternative payment processor for your audience to use!

📣 Heads up!

All transactions that are made using PayPal will be sent directly to your PayPal account. There transactions will not appear in your Income tab's Account Balance. If you have connected Stripe and PayPal, you will only see the transactions made via Stripe in your Account Balance.

Using PayPal and Stripe

You have the ability to connect PayPal or Stripe, or both payment processors! If you decide to connect both, your customers will now have the option to pay you using either PayPal or Stripe during their checkout like below:

Alternatively, you can decide to only use one payment provider. Whichever payment provider you decide to connect Stan with will be the only payment option that appears on your checkout page.

  • i.e. If you only connect with Stripe, then your customers will only have the option to pay with their Credit Card.
  • Or, if you'd only like to connect with PayPal, then after connected, your customers will only have the option to pay via PayPal

🚨 Please Note!

  • PayPal is not available for Funnels at this time (Creator PRO feature)
  • You cannot connect a PayPal account to multiple Stan Stores. If you have more than one Stan Store, each account will need their own individual PayPal account.
