How to Connect Stan with Paypal
Before you can start making money on Stan, you'll need to connect a payment processor like PayPal or Stripe to your Stan Store!
If Stripe is unavailable in your current country, PayPal is an awesome alternative payment processor for your audience! Especially because it uses data encryption and anti-fraud technology, PayPal is a great option to help keep your information safe and reduce the risk of cyber fraud! 🔒
📣 Heads up!
All transactions that are made using PayPal will be sent directly to your PayPal account. These transactions will not appear in your Income tab's Account Balance. If you have connected Stripe and PayPal, you will only see the transactions made via Stripe in your Account Balance!
Though you will not be able to Cash Out PayPal funds in your Income tab, you can absolutely see the amount of funds that have been sent to your PayPal account. You can do this by navigating to your Income tab and selecting the Question Mark Icon above your Total Revenue. Here's how that looks on your end:
When you log in to your PayPal account, you'll be able to see these transactions. Here's how that looks in PayPal:

Using PayPal and Stripe
You have the ability to connect PayPal or Stripe, or both payment processors! If you decide to connect both, your customers will now have the option to pay you using either PayPal or Stripe during their checkout like below:

Alternatively, you can decide to only use one payment provider. Whichever payment provider you decide to connect Stan with will be the only payment option that appears on your checkout page.
- i.e. If you only connect with Stripe, then your customers will only have the option to pay with their Credit Card.
- Or, if you'd only like to connect with PayPal, then after connected, your customers will only have the option to pay via PayPal
PayPal's Credit/Debit Option
If you only have PayPal connected and would like your customers to be able to pay with a card instead of a PayPal account, they can checkout as a guest! When they click PayPal in your Store, they'll see this popup:
If your customer selects Pay with Debit or Credit Card, they will be directed to checkout with PayPal as a guest:
🚨 Please Note!
- PayPal is not available for Funnels at this time (Creator PRO feature)
- You cannot connect a PayPal account to multiple Stan Stores. If you have more than one Stan Store, each account will need their own individual PayPal account.
