Why Are My Customers Required To Enter An Address?


If you are seeing a required physical address field on your product checkout page, it is because you currently have tax collection enabled in your Stan Store.


It is 100% your choice whether you would like to collect taxes from your customers at checkout, however, if you have this setting enabled, your customers will be provided to provide you with their physical address so that they are taxed correctly based on their location.


How to Remove the Required Address Field

If you'd like to disable your tax collection:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Payments
  2. Scroll to Enable Taxes
  3. Toggle the setting off
