Adding Community Administrators and Moderators
Want to add Administrators and Moderators to your Community? Now you can! This article will show you how you can manage your team in Community! 🤩
How to give a team member Admin or Moderator access to your Community
In order to grant Admin or Moderator access to a team member, you must first add them to your Community. Once you do that, please follow these steps:
- Open your Community and navigate to Manage Members
- Find (or search for) your team member and click the Member Dropdown
- Select Admin or Moderator
Once you select the appropriate status for your team member, you're all set!
What can an Administrator do in my Community?
Great question! When you give a team member Admin access, they will be able to:
- Make posts, comments, and reactions like any other member
- Manage members
- Delete posts and comments
- Pin posts
- Edit and make additions to your About, Helpful Links, and Resources sections
- Edit your Header
An Admin does not have your Stan login information and will NOT be able to:
- See your Stan dashboard or any sensitive information including your Income tab
- Edit your Stan information
- Edit the Community Product in your Store
- Grant customers free access to Community
- Add Community to other products in your store
What can a Moderator do in my Community?
When you give a team member Moderator Access, they will be able to:
- Make posts, comments, and reactions like any other member
- Delete posts and comments
A Moderator does not have your Stan login information and will NOT be able to:
- Manage members
- Pin posts
- Edit About, Helpful Links, or Resources sections
- Edit your Header
- See your Stan dashboard or any s
- sensitive information including your Income tab
- Edit your Stan information
- Edit the Community Product in your Store
- Grant customers free access to Community
- Add Community to other products in your store
📣 Heads Up!
Once you grant Admin or Moderator access, your team members will login through your Community link like any other customer — they will just have additional access once they're inside your Community!
