Funnel Setup & Functionality


Q: How many pages can I add to a Funnel?

A: Funnels can contain up to 20 pages total, including upsells and downsells.


Q: How many Upsell and Downsell levels can I create?

A: Funnels support up to 5 levels of nested Upsells and Downsells. This allows you to build multi-step customer journeys while keeping the experience manageable for customers.


Q: Why are customers landing on the wrong offer after I reordered my Funnel pages?

A: Reordering pages can change the customer journey through your Funnel. After making changes using Reorder, Preview your Upsell (Purchase Path) and Downsell (Skip Path) assignments to ensure customers are routed to the correct offers.


Q: Can I move Upsell and Downsell offers independently when reordering?

A: No. Upsell and Downsell offers are attached to their parent product and move together as a single unit when reordering. If you’d like to reposition an offer elsewhere in your Funnel, you’ll first need to detach it from its current Purchase Path or Skip Path.


Q: Why won’t my Funnel URL slug save?

A: Funnel URL slugs can only contain:

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Underscores (_)

Spaces, hyphens (-), and special characters are not supported.


Q: Why can’t I find my Funnel on my storefront?

A: Building a Funnel in the Funnels tab does not automatically publish it to your storefront.


To make your Funnel available to customers, click Publish to My Store. This creates a URL / Media Product that customers can click to enter your Funnel.


Q: What happens to my existing Legacy (V1) Funnels?

A: Funnels V2 is a completely rebuilt feature and is not an update to Legacy Funnels. If you’ve previously created Funnels using the original Funnels experience, you’ll still have access to them. You can continue editing your Legacy Funnels from the Funnels page, or recreate them using the new Funnels experience with products already in your store.



Product Compatibility


Q: Which products can be added to a Funnel?

A: Funnels currently support:

  • Lead Magnets.
  • Digital Downloads.
  • Courses.
  • Webinars.
  • Coaching Calls.
  • Custom Products.
  • Community Products.
  • Recurring Memberships.
  • Subscription-based products.
  • Landing Page products.


Q: Can I add a Coaching Call to a Funnel?

A: Yes. Coaching Calls are fully supported in Funnels. You can add a Coaching Call product just like any other compatible product when building your Funnel. Customers who purchase the Coaching Call through your Funnel will be able to book their session as usual.


Q: Can I add a URL Product or Referral Link Product to a Funnel?

A: No. URL/Media Products and Stan Referral Link are not compatible with Funnels.


Q: Can I add Order Bumps to Funnel products?

A: No. Order Bumps are not currently supported within Funnels. This is a popular feature request, and it is on our roadmap!


Q: Can I add a Funnel as a resource inside Community?

A: No. At the moment, funnels cannot currently be added as Community resources.


Q: Can I add products that have the Affiliate feature enabled?

A: Yes! But the product's Affiliate feature will be disabled. This means that any customer who purchases the product through a Funnel will not receive an Affiliate link.


Q: Can I add products that are connected to a Community?

A: Yes. Products with Community integrations are compatible with Funnels.


Q: Can I use discount pricing in a Funnel?

A: Yes. Products with discounted pricing can be added to Funnels.


Q: Can customers use discount codes inside a Funnel?

A: Yes. Discount codes are supported within Funnels.


Q: Is pixel tracking available with Funnels?

A: No. Pixel tracking is not currently available with Funnels.


Payments


Q: Why can’t my customers pay with PayPal, Apple Pay, or a Payment Plan in a Funnel?

A: This is expected behavior — funnels currently only support payments through the Stripe credit card field. PayPal, Apple Pay, and Payment Plans are not supported for Funnel purchases.


Q: What payment methods are supported in Funnels?

A: Customers can purchase Funnel products using the Stripe credit card field at checkout.


Purchases, Emails & Reporting


Q: Will customers receive receipts for Funnel purchases?

A: Yes. Each product purchased within a Funnel generates its own confirmation email and receipt.


Q: How do Funnel purchases appear in the Income tab?

A: Each purchased product appears as a separate entry in the Income tab. The Funnel name is included in the transaction details for reference.


Q: Do Email Flows work with Funnels?

A: Yes. If a product included in a Funnel has an Email Flow attached, customers who purchase that product through the Funnel will still receive the associated Email Flow.


Q: Will Funnel purchases appear in Analytics?

A: Funnel Analytics reconciliation is still being completed. Additional analytics functionality will be available in a future update.
