Order Bump Setup & Functionality


Q: Can I add more than one Order Bump to a product?

A: Not at this time. Currently, each product can only have one Order Bump. That said, this is a popular feature request that we hope to be able to fulfill in the future!


Q: How can I offer an Order Bump at a discounted price?

A: Order Bumps don’t currently include a built-in discount field.

To offer an Order Bump at a discounted price, create a duplicate version of the product, convert it into a Landing Page, and set the discounted price on that version. You can then select the discounted version as your Order Bump while keeping the original product’s price unchanged on your storefront.

Q: Why is my Order Bump description getting cut off?

A: Order Bump descriptions are limited to 140 characters.

If you’re using the Use product description option, longer product descriptions may be shortened automatically. You can edit the description manually to fit within the character limit.

💡 The Description field is available on the Spotlight, Card, and Flashy designs. The Simple design does not include a Description field.

Q: Why doesn’t my Order Bump look the way I expected?

A: Order Bumps offer four design options:

  • Simple
  • Spotlight
  • Card
  • Flashy

Each design includes different customization options. Spotlight, Card, and Flashy designs support an optional Description field, while the Card design also supports a custom Thumbnail.


Product Compatibility


Q: Why can’t I select a product as my Order Bump?

A: Order Bumps can only be created using:

  • Digital Download products
  • Community products
  • Course products

If you’re using a Community or Course product, it must be configured as a one-time payment product. Subscription products cannot be used as Order Bumps.


Q: Can I add an Order Bump to a free product?

A: No. The main product must be a paid product (at least $0.50) to support an Order Bump.


Q: Can I use a free product as an Order Bump?

A: No. Order Bump products must also be paid products. Free products cannot be used as Order Bumps.


Q: Can I use Order Bumps in Funnels?

A: No. Order Bumps are not currently supported within Funnels, but this is a popular feature request that we hope to implement in the future!


Troubleshooting


Q: Why isn’t my Order Bump appearing at checkout?

A: Check to make sure the following is true:

  • You’re on the Creator Pro plan.
  • The main product is a paid product.
  • The Order Bump product is a paid Digital Download, Community, or Course product.
  • If using a Community or Course product, it is configured as a one-time payment product.
  • The product is not being purchased through a Funnel.
