How to Cash Out Inside Stan

First of all, congrats on your first sale! 🎉 There’s nothing better than getting paid for your work. Here’s exactly how to cash out your earnings, step by step.

Cashing Out from Your Stan Account

Head to your Income tab.
Click the purple + Cash Out button in the top right corner.

Your money should hit your bank account within 24-48 hours after cashing out 🎉

📣 Heads up!

Your Available for Cashout balance must be equivalent to $10 USD at a minimum.
It's not possible to cash out a partial amount — you'll only be able to cash out the total available balance.
If you're using a Stripe Custom account, you must cash out directly from Stan — not from Stripe.

Gray Cash Out Button

If the + Cash Out button is grayed out, don't worry! It just means that Stripe is processing the transaction.

🇺🇸 US-based Creators: It can take 2-7 business days for Stripe to process the payment before it's available to cash out (usually it's closer to 2 days!).
🌎 International Creators: Stripe takes up to 7 business days to process a payment before it's ready to Cash Out.
🤝 Affiliate Payments: Can take 7-12 business days to process before available for Cash Out.

📣 Note: If this is your first-ever sale through a new Stripe Custom account, processing may take a little longer (typically 3-7 business days) due to Stripe’s one-time verification step.

How to Check Your Payout Status

Want to know when a specific transaction will be available to cash out? ⏱️ Here's how to check:

Go to your Income tab.
Click into the specific transaction.
Scroll down to the Timeline section.

There, you’ll see the status of the payout, along with the estimated date it will be available for Cash Out.

💡Tip: This timeline is an estimate and may vary slightly due to weekends, holidays, or Stripe’s processing times, which are outside of our control. Affiliate or referral payments may also not appear in the timeline.

📣 Heads up! At this time, it's not possible to download a payout receipt from Stan. For a transaction log including payouts, you can download the CSV file from your Income tab!

What is the timeline for Affiliate Payouts?

Both the original Creator and Affiliate will be able to cash out after a 7-business-day holding period. This period allows the Creator to issue any necessary refunds before funds are cashed out by either party.

After 7 business days, the funds will be released to your account, at which point they will settle in either Stripe or PayPal. This process can take anywhere from 12 hours to 5 business days, depending on your location! Overall, Affiliate funds can take up to 12 days to become available for cash out.

What does Available Soon mean?

Available Soon is a combination of all the money that will soon be Available for Cash Out. This includes:

Purchases that are currently processing (2-7 business days to process).
Referral Bonuses (paid out on a rolling basis every 3-5 business days).
Affiliate Bonuses (7-12 business days to process).
