First of all, HUGE congrats on making your first sale on Stan! 🎉 In this article, we'll walk you through step by step how to cash out your hard earned funds from within your Stan account, because every day is a great day for payday on Stan!
How to Cash Out Inside Stan
In order to cash out your hard earned funds on Stan, you will need to do so by logging into your account!
Please note!
You will not be able to cash out from within Stripe, you must login to Stan in order to initiate a payout.
- Make sure you're logged into Stan and head over to your Income tab
- Next, click on the purple +Cash Out button in the top right corner.
- If this button does not yet show up, it is because your Stripe account has not yet been fully verified. This process may take up to 3-7 business days after you've sent up your direct deposit and made your first sale through Stan.
3. After clicking cash out, your money will be deposited into your bank account connected to Stripe within 24-48 hours!
Held By Stan
If you see funds in "Held by Stan", it means that we owe you referral bonuses and affiliate share income! These normally get paid about every 3-5 business days on a rolling basis.
Using Currencies Other Than USD
If you are located in a country that uses a currency other than USD, Stripe will automatically convert your money to your local currency upon cash out. For example, if your store is in USD, but your bank account is CAD, Stripe will convert it into CAD.
At this time, Stan only offers the option to price your products in USD, AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, SEK and NZ, however, you may accept payment from any other country as long as the customer pays with a valid credit or debit card. Here's a bit more info on
How to Update Your Currency.
Notes About Payouts
- Stripe may take up to 2-7 business days to verify your account.
- If you have an existing balance before you setup your Direct Deposit, this will be moved to your Stripe account as soon as it is verified
- Payouts take 2-3 business days to settle into your bank account.
- If you're banking outside of the United States, your funds may take a bit longer as some international Creators are on a 7 day rolling basis. This means you will only be able to cash out 7 business days after the customer makes their purchase. After you hit "Cash Out" the money should hit your bank within 24 hours! Unfortunately, This isn't something we can control on our end as it's managed by Stripe. However, we are actively working on seeing if it's possible for Stripe to increase the speed of payouts in the future and we'll keep you posted if we have any updates!
