What is Stan's Referral Program?
Stan’s Referral Program lets you earn 20% recurring commission on every subscription you refer — for as long as that Creator stays subscribed. It’s passive income, paid out monthly! 💸
How to Share Your Referral Link
You can share your referral link in two easy ways — either by adding it to your Stan Store or copying it directly from your dashboard ✨
Option 1: Add it to your Stan Store
- Go to your My Store tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and click +Add Product.
- Select the product labeled Stan Affiliate Link.
Anyone who visits your store and signs up through that Stan Affiliate Link product will be tracked as your referral.
Option 2: Share it directly
- Log in to your Stan account and click the Referrals tab.
- Find your referral link on the lower right-hand side.
- Click Copy to share it directly with someone who’d be a great fit.
Anyone who signs up using your referral link will automatically be tracked as your referral.
📣 Heads up!
If you update your username, your referral link will change too. Make sure to repost your updated link so you continue receiving credit! Your previous referrals will not be affected — we’ll continue tracking those ✅
Referral Commission Breakdown
You’ll earn 20% of your referral's subscription price, whether they’re on a monthly or annual plan. Commission payouts are recurring, as long as your referral's subscription stays active💰

Tracking & Payouts
You can monitor your referral progress at any time via the Referrals tab in your Stan dashboard.
- You’ll receive your referral payout 3-5 days after their subscription renews, either monthly or annually.
- You’ll start earning commission once your referral's 14-day free trial ends and their subscription becomes active.
- For example: If someone signs up on Jan 1, their subscription activates on Jan 15 — that’s when they’ll appear in your Referrals tab, and your commission will begin.
📣 Heads up!
Payouts may take longer than 3–5 days if Stan’s PayPal account temporarily runs out of funds. We reload this account monthly, so any delays will resume the following month once funds are replenished.
How Payouts Work
- If you have Stripe connected, referral payouts will be sent through Stripe.
- If you have only PayPal connected, payouts will be sent via PayPal.
📣 Heads up!
You must have an active Stan subscription to receive referral commisssion. If you cancel your Stan account, you’ll no longer receive referral commission — even for active referrals.
Changing Referrers
We totally get that mix-ups can happen! That said, to keep things fair and consistent:
- We’re unable to make referral changes if it’s been more than 45 days since the original signup (14-day trial + 30 days).
- Changes will only be made if the request comes directly from the referral, not the referrer.
Referrals from Paid Ads
- Stan does not offer Referral Commissions on referrals driven from paid ads (Google, Bing, etc).
