Can I Sell Physical Products with Stan?

Great question! Stan is best used for selling and hosting digital products, as we do not have the ability to seamlessly sell physical products at this time.

With that being said, we do have many Creators that use Stan to sell physical products by manually collecting your customers Address at checkout!

Steps to Selling Physical Products on Stan

To sell physical products on Stan, we recommend using the Custom Product type as you will be able to use the Fulfill option and share the shipment tracking and receipt once the product has been shipped!

1. Head over to your My Store tab and select +Add Product
2. Next, select the Custom Product type

3. Next, customize your Thumbnail with an Image, Text and Call to Action button

4. Click on the Next: Edit Checkout Page button. You'll be able to customize your checkout page with the description of your product. We recommend including any important details about the process in the product description:
   1. Estimated shipping times
   2. Return policy
   3. Refunds process
   4. etc.

5. Last but not least! You'll need to collect the customers Shipping Address using the Form Fields section.

   To do so, select +Add Field, choose Text from the dropdown list, and then type the information you need in order to ship. Recommended info includes:

   1. Shipping Street Address
   2. Shipping City
   3. Shipping State
   4. Shipping Zip Code

6. Click Publish and your product will be live!

7. Once someone purchases directly from you, you will receive an email prompting you to "Fulfill the Order" which will allow you to upload a file once the order is ready.

   We recommend using this Fulfill Order button to upload the tracking number or shipment information once you have shipped out the product!

   

6. Select the Fulfill Order button and you will be taken to your Income tab where you can upload the file. Once you fulfill the order, Stan will automatically email your customer the file on your behalf.

   

7. And now you're done!
