Why is My Affiliate Income Being Held?
Earning through your Stan Affiliate link? Here's how and when you'll get paid, plus what to expect during the payout process 💸
📣 Heads up!
Stan typically releases Affiliate transactions 7 days after a purchase, but they may need an additional 12 hours to 5 business days to process before they're available for cash out.
Once a customer has purchased your product using an Affiliate link, the transaction will appear in your Income Tab along with the Affiliate's name.
Stan will hold the funds (in USD) for both you and the Affiliate for 7 business days to ensure funds are easily accessible in case a refund is needed. During this time, your Affiliate funds will be visible in the Affiliate Bonus section.
After 7 business days, the funds will be released to your account and will settle through either Stripe or PayPal. This process can take anywhere from 12 hours to 5 business days, depending on your location.
Overall, it can take up to 12 business days for your Affiliate funds to be ready for cash out. But hang tight—your funds will be available soon 😊

If you're banking outside of the U.S., you'll likely experience slightly longer wait times. While we're actively exploring methods to speed this up, here's a general overview of why this requires a bit of extra processing time:
First, Stan holds the funds from all Affiliate Sales for the typical 7 days. Because your bank is outside the US, your funds undergo an additional 7 days of processing before they become available for cashing out! Altogether, international Affiliate payouts can take up to 14 business days for full processing.
