Stan's Refund Policy

Life gets busy! While we send regular invoice reminders, we recognize that as a Creator, your subscription is just one thing you’re juggling. If you believe you qualify for a refund, please check out our guidelines below! 💸


What Is Stan’s Refund Policy?

Great question! Please refer to the guidelines below.

💡 Refunds are manually reviewed as needed by our Support Team to account for any extenuating circumstances. Our goal is to balance fairness with flexibility, ensuring our Creators are set up for success!

  • Your subscription must be fully canceled. We are unable to refund payments for active subscriptions.
  • The payment must have been within the last 30 days.
  • The payment must be from one billing period. We are not able to refund payments from multiple billing periods.
  • We are unable to offer refunds based on non-usage of the platform. If you find that you’re not using Stan, please cancel your subscription to avoid any unintended charges.
  • If you’ve upgraded or downgraded your subscription (from Creator → Creator Pro, Monthly → Annual, etc.), you may be eligible for a prorated refund based on the unused time on either plan.

Best Practices

In order to make the refund process as smooth and seamless as possible, here are a few helpful pointers 👇

  • Whenever possible, please reach out from the email address associated with your Stan Store. Reaching out from the correct email address speeds up our process and gets your refund initiated more quickly.
  • Please note that refunds can take 5-10 business days to appear in your bank statement.
  • Please cancel before your billing date to avoid any unwanted charges.
    • Any cancellation that happens after an invoice period has been opened does not cancel with immediate effect.
    • For example, if your billing date is January 1st, and you don’t cancel until January 3rd (after the charge is attempted), your subscription will not be set to cancel until your next billing date on February 1st. Stripe will continue to attempt the charge in the meantime!
  • Please independently monitor the following:
    • Your bank statement, to ensure you are not being charged unexpectedly.
    • Your email address connected with Stan, to ensure you are not missing any payment reminders or auto-renewal notifications.

📣 Please note that our system does not initiate refunds by default. Requesting a cancellation does not necessarily indicate a refund is necessary — if you’re looking to be refunded for your payment, please let us know at friends@stanwith.me for next steps!


Refunds for products purchased on Stan

You might find that you’ve purchased a product from a Creator on Stan and are looking to have the payment refunded. If you’re hoping for a refund from a specific Creator, please first reach out directly to the Creator using their provided contact information (often found in the product receipt or other email communications) 📩

💡 It’s usually best to allow the Creator 5-7 business days to respond — every Creator has their own schedule! That said, if you’re still awaiting a response, please feel free to reach out to our Support Team in the meantime.

🚨 Please note that our team is unable to process refunds on behalf of Creators! The Creator from whom you purchased will be the best point of contact for any refunds, as each Creator has their own policies.
