🔓 Log In to Your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Protected Account
🛡️Context: In this example, the user previously configured 2FA using 1Password as the authenticator app.
🔐 Step 1: Supply your username and password as before.
If the correct credentials are supplied, the Stan platform will require your 2FA code.
🔢 Step 2: Type/Paste in your one-time passcode 6-digit code as displayed on your authenticator app.
The prompt UI provides the hint you specified while configuring 2FA. In the screenshot below, the user set up 2FA using 1Password.
💡 If you cannot access your authenticator app, you can use your saved backup codes to disable 2FA, as illustrated here.
🔓 Step 3: With the correct 6-digit code, you can access your store!
The Stan platform will subsequently recognize this device for future login attempts. Any time a device is not recognized, Stan will require the 6-digit code to log in!
