π Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with your backup code
In Step 6 of How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you downloaded your backup code. This code is required to restore your account in the event that you lose access to your 2FA Authenticator app.
In the event that youβre locked out, this article explains how to regain access with your backup code.

- Account recovery is only possible on web and cannot be achieved from the mobile app.
- If you cannot access your backup code. Please contact friends@stanwith.me for recovery options
π ββοΈ Context: In this example, the user no longer has access to 1password (the saved authenticator app)
π Step 1: Retrieve your downloaded/saved backup code.
π Step 2: Click βUse a backup codeβ on the Verify Code.
β¨οΈ Step 3: Type or Paste in your backup code and Click Continue
π Step 4: Your store is unlocked! Click βSecure Your Accountβ to begin e-configuring 2FA. Although not recommended, you can dismiss the notification.
