What is a Digital Download Product?

A digital download product is one of the most common forms of digital products. Sell your knowledge through a downloadable that can be accessed at any time of the day. Below are the most common types of Digital Downloads.

How to set up a Digital Download Product?

To add a Digital Download Product to your Stan store, follow the steps below:

Start by going to the My Store tab and click on Add Product.
Pick the Sell a Digital Download option.
You can then edit the thumbnail, heading, subheading and button title of the Thumbnail Preview.
Click on Next: Edit Checkout Page. Now you'll be able to edit the header image and heading for the Checkout Page as well as set up the price, fields and finally in the bottom you'll be able to attach your digital download file or paste the link to your product.
In the Advanced tab you will be able to set up your order bumps, affiliate share links, promo videos or testimonials as well as edit your confirmation email and connect your integration with MailChimp.
When the product is all set up to your liking you can either Save As Draft or Publish the product.

File Formats & Size 📁

You can upload any kind of file to your Stan Store, including, but not limited to:

XLS
PDF
PSD
EPS
SVG
MP4
You can even link to an online page (URL)

The recommended size for your digital download is under 500 MB or "as small as possible" as your client will need to download the file, and you never know what kind of device and network they are using. If the file is to big they can run out of space or it might take hours to download the file. With that being said, it is possible to sell files as big as 4 GB.
